Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information GrowPost (“GrowPost”, “we”, “us”) collects through our website and Chrome extension, why we collect it, and how it's used. GrowPost is a tool for drafting AI replies and posting plans for X (Twitter) — nothing here is used for anything beyond making that feature work for you.

Information we collect

When you create a GrowPost account and use the product, we collect:

  • Account information: your email address and Google account ID, used to sign you in via Google (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase).
  • Settings you provide: your growth goal, an optional startup pitch, and any custom system prompt you write to control how the AI writes for you.
  • Content GrowPost generates for you: AI-drafted replies and posting-plan posts, associated with your account so you can review and reuse them.
  • Usage activity: lightweight event logs (e.g. “a reply was generated”, “a post was marked as posted”) used to power your own analytics view. We don't track you across other websites.

The Chrome extension

When you click the ⚡ button on a post on x.com, the extension reads the text of that specific post (and the author's name, if shown) and sends it to the GrowPost backend to generate a reply. It does not read or transmit anything else from the page. Your sign-in session is stored locally in your browser via Chrome's extension storage.

How we use third-party services

  • Anthropic (Claude API): post text, your settings, and your custom system prompt are sent to Anthropic to generate replies and posting plans. This is a standard commercial API call — Anthropic does not use API data to train its models.
  • Supabase: our authentication and database provider. Your account, settings, and generated content are stored there.

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

What GrowPost does not do

GrowPost never posts to X on your behalf automatically. Every reply and every post requires you to click Post yourself.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the address below.

Children's privacy

GrowPost is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under the age of 16.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of GrowPost after a change means you accept the updated policy.
